WHITEFISH SKI TRIP 2026:

This is a Crescent Ski Council (CSC) trip.  About a dozen PSOC members are signed up as of October 15th.  Still plenty of room.  If you haven't skied at Whitefish, you are missing out.

 Whitefish Mountain is a fantastic and uncrowded resort.  January is the perfect time to visit Whitefish for some fantastic snow.  We fly into the Glacier Park Int'l Airport (GPIA) in Kalispell, MT, and travel by coach to Whitefish (about an hour trip).

•  Base Price is $1460 for either Kandahar Lodge  (QQ hotel room w/ complimentary breakfast), which is slopeside, or Lodge at Whitefish Lake which are condos in town (with complimentary shuttle).

Whitefish is not an Ikon trip, but Ikon members are still eligible for the Ikon trip credit offered by Sports America for members who purchased their Ikon pass via the club.

At Mammoth Mountain, 11,053 feet of elevation and 3,500 acres of skiable terrain create the perfect setting for unforgettable skiing adventures. Beginners can find their rhythm on gentle, welcoming slopes, while seasoned skiers can push their limits on steep descents and powder-filled bowls. 

TRIP TRAVEL SUMMARY:

We will fly into and out of Reno, NV,  so please arrange your air travel plans to arrive in Reno by 1PM on Saturday, March 7th.   Motorcoach transportation is included to get us to/from Reno to the resort.  We will ski all day on Friday the 13th, and then head back to Reno and stay at the Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino  on Friday night.  You can make your departure flight arrangements aanytime on Saturday the 14th.  

Our lodging at the resort will be 6 nights from the 7th through the 13th.

Travel with the Crescent Ski Council and affiliate clubs to the beautiful Porto Region of Portugal via land and river. This tour is being presented by Mayflower Tours. There are 32 spots available.  Please join us for an amazing 11-day trip to Portugal and Spain, which includes a 10-night riverboat cruise on the Duoro River.  The Douro River is the river that defines the major border between Portugal and Spain, and we'll cruise from the coast of Portugal up into Spain and back.

Pricing ranges from $5,557 to $7,666 pp depending on cabin choice and availability (see linked flyer). Currently only 3 cabins left on Riviera Deck (Class E & D) at $5557 & $5775 And 1 Single female spot on Riviera deck.

Airfare is included from gateway cities if registered before July 1, 2025 however, if you choose to do your own air, you can deduct $1,200 from the price of the trip (but will need to add transfers back in). Transfers included on package arrival and departure dates. Deviations will require you setting up your own transfers but can be accommodated within reason on the included airfare.

THIS IS A FUTURE CRESCENT SKI COUNCIL TRIP IN THE WINTER OF 2027.

Mt. Bachelor  is the 7th largest ski resort in North America, with more than 4,300 acres of lift-accessible terrain. Located on the eastern flanks of Oregon’s Central Cascades, Mt. Bachelor is known for its light, dry snow, diverse terrain, family friendliness, and one of the longest seasons in the country that runs through May.  

This will be a Crescent Ski Council trip, which means that it will be promoted by all 18 clubs in the the council.  So, like most CSC trips, the attendance will be great, and it will fill up fast .

THIS IS A FUTURE PSOC TRIP FOR THE SPRING OF 2027.

Our club has secured an awesome deal for our PSOC ski week trip to Snowmass.  

If you have never been to Aspen/Snowmass, you need to do it.  It is consistently rated as one of the top ski destinations in North America (for good reason).  If you want a huge mountain with all sorts of terrain, from baby green beginner to ripping expert, this is your place.

While Aspen is sometimes thought of as too expensive, especially for ski-in/ski-out accommodations, our trip planners have scored an unbelievable deal, thanks to our early commitment to take enough condo beds for 26 members.

THIS IS A FUTURE TRIP IN THE SPRING OF 2028.

PSOC loves, loves, loves Schweitzer.  A hidden gem that locals keep quiet about, on purpose.   Awesome, affordable, and lots of snow. Dream skiing.

We are thinking ahead and securing the best group deals for our members!

We will stay in the resort's base village, which is just steps from the lifts.  It couldn't be more convenient.  The base restaurants and apres is quite good also, and central to our accommodations.  The village of Sandpoint is close by for those who want to venture into town.
